Intent to Sole Source - CO2 Scrubbers/COH2 Burner Repairs

The Norfolk Naval Shipyard intends to sole source the removal, reinstallation, and testing of CO2 Scrubber and COH2 Burner equipment shipboard. The sole source justification is based on the fact that CEPEDA Associates Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and owns the proprietary data required to perform this work. • The work involves the removal, reinstallation, and testing of CO2 Scrubber and COH2 Burner equipment shipboard. • The OEM, CEPEDA Associates Inc., is the only responsible source capable of fulfilling this requirement. • Other vendors can send a Technical Abilities statement to be considered for future requirements.
