Description
The San Bernardino County Flood Control District is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a Transport Tractor. The tractor should be a 3-axle heavy haul transport tractor designed to pull a 7-axle equipment trailer capable of carrying 125,000 Lbs. of payload. The tractor should have a minimum GVWR of 68,000Lbs and a GCWR of 187,000 lbs. The engine should be a Cummins X15N 500 15-liter CNG engine with a displacement of 15 liters, fuel type of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), power output of 500 horsepower, and torque range of 1850 lb-ft. The transmission should be an 18-speed manual with overdrive and external cooling mounted off the radiator. The tractor should also have a hydraulic system, cab, electrical system, and interior as specified in the attachment D.
• The tractor should meet the specifications outlined in attachment D, including the chassis, engine, fuel tanks, power train, cab, electrical system, interior, and miscellaneous features.
• The vendor should provide a price sheet with the make, model year, quantity, price per unit, and extended price for the transport tractor and any optional features.
• The vendor should also provide a warranty and price lock for additional units, as well as a delivery schedule and any necessary paperwork.
