Description
Kansas Department of Transportation is seeking a consulting firm (or team) to provide construction‑inspection services for grading, bridge, and surfacing work across multiple counties, as well as critical‑path‑method (CPM) schedule‑management assistance for two specific projects. The solicitation consolidates many separate projects into one RFP, allowing firms to indicate interest in any or all projects and rank up to three preferences. Pre‑qualification in KDOT Category 241 is required for inspection work but not for CPM services. The firm must submit a single PDF (≤10 MB) with required special attachments, a completed interest & preference form, and demonstrate relevant qualifications, past performance, and understanding of KDOT processes.
• Construction‑inspection scope includes on‑site grading, bridge, and surfacing inspections for projects in Doniphan, Montgomery, Sumner, Wyandotte, and Wabaunsee counties.
• CPM technical‑assistance scope covers schedule‑update meetings, change‑order integration, and analysis using SmartPM (or equivalent) for projects in Phillips and Norton counties.
• Mandatory deliverables: Tax Clearance Certificate, Sexual Harassment Policy, Company Certification, and a 2‑page per‑project technical approach (plus a 1‑page overall cover).
