Montebello Unified School District is establishing a pre‑qualified pool of contractors for a wide range of trades (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, concrete, painting, flooring, fencing, fire‑alarm, A/E, kitchen equipment, freezer/cooling equipment, and environmental remediation) to be called upon for as‑needed service contracts during the 2026‑2027 school year. Qualified firms will be eligible for multiple task‑order contracts, each not to exceed the statutory bid‑limit of $114,500. The qualification period runs July 1 2026 through June 30 2027, with a single submission deadline of May 14 2026. The district requires extensive insurance, bonding, prevailing‑wage compliance, drug‑free workplace certification, fingerprinting, and audit rights.
