Coastal Center - Walk-in Cooler Repairs - Main Kitchen

The Department of Disabilities and Special Needs seeks a contractor to replace and install a new condenser and two evaporators for the walk‑in cooler in the main kitchen of the Coastal Center. The scope includes removal of existing equipment, crane‑assisted placement of the new condenser, line‑set cleaning and flushing, system recharge, pressure testing, leak detection, drain and electrical connections, and installation of new disconnects. All materials, refrigerant, labor, environmental fees, and crane rental must be included in the bid. • Remove existing condenser and two evaporators and properly dispose of them. • Provide and install a new condenser (crane required) and two new evaporators. • Clean, flush, and recharge the refrigeration line sets; conduct PSI testing and leak checks. • Connect all drains, electrical wiring, and install new disconnect switches; include all materials, refrigerant, labor, environmental fees, and crane rental in the proposal.
