Sawgrass WWTP Biosolids Odor Control Improvements

The City of Sunrise is seeking bids for the Sawgrass WWTP Biosolids Odor Control Improvements project. The work consists of constructing and installing various systems and equipment to control odors at the wastewater treatment plant, including a vapor phase odor control system, a liquid phase odor control system, and a spray gel application system. The project also involves the demolition of existing systems and the installation of new instrumentation and appurtenances. • The project includes the installation of coarse bubble wideband diffusers and associated appurtenances in the sludge holding tanks. • The project includes the installation of a dry media adsorption (activated carbon) odor control system to treat foul air from the sludge holding tanks. • The project includes the installation of a fabric awning canopy system to cover the existing liquid phase treatment area. • The project includes the provision of a spray gel application system for the truck loading and storage area.
