Request for Information: Pencom 911/Jeffcom 911 CAD System Upgrade

The City of Port Angeles is seeking information to determine if a cloud-native public safety suite would improve the operational capacity and efficiency of the Pencom 911 and Jeffcom 911 dispatch centers. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather information to assist the City in formulating its requirements and identifying qualified firms that can meet their needs. The City is looking for a cloud-native solution that can provide Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Law Enforcement Records Management (LERMS), Jail Management Software (JMS), Mobile Data Software (MDS), and Fire Records Management Software (FRMS). • The City prefers a cloud-native solution, not cloud-hosted or client-server. • The vendor must have extensive experience in similar public safety software projects. • The vendor must have knowledge and expertise in the interoperability of disparate software systems. • The City is open to alternative ideas and considerations. • The RFI is not a solicitation, and responses are not offers and cannot be accepted by the City to form a binding contract.
