Description
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is seeking a qualified contractor for the removal and replacement of a water-cooled screw chiller at the FDOT D2 District Office Headquarters Campus in Lake City, Florida. The contractor must have at least three years of experience in commercial projects of similar scope and complexity. The project involves obtaining the services of a qualified, experienced, and licensed contractor to perform the removal and replacement of the screw chiller.
• The contractor must be licensed in the State of Florida and have experience in commercial projects.
• The contractor must maintain all applicable licensure and meet the requirements of the most current Florida Building Code (FBC).
• The contractor must obtain necessary permitting to perform the requirements of the contract.
• The contractor must provide a bid guaranty of 5% of the actual total bid if the bid amount exceeds $100,000.
• The contractor must provide a performance bond and labor and material payment bond of 100% each of the contract sum if the contract award amount exceeds $100,000.
