Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is providing notice of its intent to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract for a media/scrap metal recycling program at the East Orange and Lyons New Jersey VAMC’s. The contract will require the pickup, removal, and transportation of scrap equipment, as well as recycling and/or disposal of the items in accordance with state and federal law. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by submitting clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above.
* The contract will be for a period of one year, with four option years.
* The contractor will be required to pick up, remove, and transport scrap equipment from the East Orange and Lyons VAMC’s.
* The contractor will be required to recycle and/or dispose of the items in accordance with state and federal law.
* Interested parties must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award.
