Consultant Services for the Property Appraisal Program

The City of Vancouver is seeking a consultant to provide property appraisal services for its assets, including buildings, contents, and mobile equipment. The consultant will be responsible for conducting on-site inspections, desktop updates, and providing reports that meet the City's insurance and asset management needs. The contract term is for three years, with the option to renew for up to four additional one-year terms. The consultant should have experience in conducting building appraisals, familiarity with contents and mobile equipment appraisals, and competency with industry-standard valuation methodologies. • The consultant will be required to provide detailed reports, including asset descriptions, replacement cost new, actual cash value, and fair market value. • The consultant will be expected to deliver reports in multiple formats, including editable and finalized versions. • The consultant will be required to capture GPS coordinates and prepare building-level metadata for integration with the City's asset tools. • The consultant will be expected to provide a minimum of three hard copies of the final appraisal report for each on-site asset appraised. • The consultant will be required to submit an organizational chart showing the proposed project team structure, including key personnel and their roles.
