Description
The Mississippi Office of the State Treasurer is seeking a communications and marketing consultant to provide services for the Office of the State Treasurer, including the Executive Office, the Mississippi Prepaid Affordable College Tuition Program, the Mississippi Affordable College Savings Program, Unclaimed Property, and all other operations of the Office. The consultant will be responsible for public affairs, media relations, digital and social media communications and advertising, direct mail marketing, and telephone marketing. Key services include developing and implementing annual and long-term marketing strategies, creating marketing materials, and evaluating the effectiveness of marketing efforts. The consultant must have at least five years of experience in communications and marketing.
• The contract will be for a period of three years with two optional one-year renewals.
• The consultant will be paid on a monthly basis as invoices are received for rendered services.
• The contract will be a fixed-price contract with payments made upon completion of tasks.
• The consultant must provide detailed price per hour for each type of consulting service and for each category/level of staff to be involved.
• The consultant must submit a written acknowledgement of every amendment to the RFP.
