Budget estimate

$500,000 – $2,000,000

Based on the estimated annual quantities of scrap metal collected (919 tons per year), and assuming an average price per ton of $100, the total annual revenue for the Contractor could be around $919,000. However, the actual budget will depend on the price per ton, which will be determined by the American Metal Market (AMM) publication, and the Contractor's bid percentage price. The County will be compensated at a percentage of the rate of the high-end of the range for Consumer Buying Price for No. 2 bundles at Philadelphia, PA, as quoted in the AMM, and converted to a price per net ton for scrap metal. The budget estimation is between $500,000 and $2,000,000 per year, considering the estimated annual quantities and the possible price range.
