Generator Services for Preventative and Corrective Maintenance

The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) is seeking a contractor to provide preventative and corrective maintenance services for standby diesel, gas, and LP generators at various WSSC facilities in Prince George's and Montgomery Counties, Maryland. The contractor will be responsible for performing annual inspections and maintenance, as well as emergency repairs as needed. The contract will be for a base term of three years, with two optional one-year extensions. The contractor must have a minimum of 5 years of experience performing similar work and must hold a current Maryland electrical/mechanical contractor's license. • The contractor will be responsible for performing annual maintenance inspections and repairs on standby generators. • The contractor will be required to provide a detailed report of all work performed, including any discrepancies found and actions taken. • The contractor must have experience with major generator brands such as Cummins, Caterpillar, Kohler, MTU, Generac, etc. • The contractor must have access to OEM parts and diagnostic software. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, county, local, and municipal laws and regulations related to employee health and safety.
