NOI to Sole Source to One Lambda, Inc.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) intends to award a one-year contract to One Lambda Inc. for the purchase of reagents for HLA typing and antibody screening. The reagents will be provided on an "as needed/requested" basis. The contract is for a firm fixed price sole source award basis. The NIH HLA Lab currently uses these reagents and has extensively quality control tested them to validate their performance. A change in vendors would require extensive validation and would impact patient care. • The contract is for a one-year period, estimated to be from June 2026 to May 2027. • The reagents will be used for HLA typing and antibody screening for patients in the Clinical Center. • The contract is for a firm fixed price sole source award basis. • The NIH HLA Lab currently uses these reagents and has extensively quality control tested them to validate their performance. • A change in vendors would require extensive validation and would impact patient care.
