Description
The United States Coast Guard is seeking a contractor to perform dry-dock repairs on the USCG STA MAYPORT (45644). The scope of work includes various tasks such as general welding, ultrasonic testing, hull plating inspection, and more. The contractor will be required to provide all necessary materials, equipment, and labor to complete the work. The project is expected to last for 99 calendar days. Some of the key tasks include:
* General welding and inspection of hull plating
* Ultrasonic testing of hull structures
* Inspection and preservation of bilge surfaces
* Renewal of sea strainers and associated piping
* Hydrostatic testing of new and disturbed piping and components
* Operational testing of all items or shipboard devices that have been disturbed, used, repaired, altered, or installed.
