Description

The Department of Labor is seeking information from potential vendors who can provide Healthcare Building Construction model and cost data. The primary objectives of this Request for Information (RFI) are to identify a specific project that best reflects the "average" or typical Healthcare building project within each of the four major Census regions, develop four detailed regional Healthcare building cost models, and develop and implement a methodology to update the material, labor, and installation costs for the four regional models on a quarterly basis. The vendor will need to rate the plans and specs provided for quality to develop a model based on the quality and detail provided. The RFI responses will be reviewed by the Department of Labor for their applicability to the Government's need and determined to be "Relevant" or "Irrelevant". Some key points to consider include: • The vendor will need to develop four new Healthcare building cost models that reflect the current marketplace trends. • The vendor will need to develop a methodology to update the material and installation costs in the four regional Healthcare building models on a quarterly basis. • The vendor will need to aid the Department of Labor on an 'as needed' basis to understand the make-up of the Healthcare building cost models and to evaluate any future updates to the models. • The vendor will need to deliver ongoing quarterly cost updates for each of the four regional Healthcare building cost models.

Budget estimate

$500,000 – $2,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate as the document does not provide a specific budget or pricing information. However, considering the scope of work, which includes developing four detailed regional Healthcare building cost models and providing ongoing quarterly cost updates, the budget could be substantial. The vendor will need to provide a rough order of magnitude for market research purposes, which may give an indication of the expected budget. Assuming the project requires significant resources and expertise, the budget could be in the range of $500,000 to $2 million.
