Description
The County of Orange is seeking a consultant to develop a phased roadmap to transition its fleet of approximately 439 vehicles to electric vehicles by 2035. The consultant will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the fleet, develop a sustainable fleet purchasing policy, and provide recommendations for charging infrastructure and facility upgrades. The scope of work includes a full fleet right-sizing analysis, lifecycle cost assessments, and development of short-, mid-, and long-term replacement schedules. The consultant will also plan the County's charging infrastructure, evaluate facility electrical capacities, and recommend upgrades such as energy storage or backup systems.
