Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, is seeking information for planning purposes to provide an existing, commercial, off-the-shelf, web-based, electronic subscription to the full-text publications of scientific journals included in the Ovid Core Biomedical journal package. The contractor shall provide all sites on the VHA network with access to a single online, web-based subscription to the specified journals. The scope of work includes providing an unrestricted number of simultaneous users with immediate access from any web-enabled computer within VHA, as well as assuring that the requirements listed in sections 4, Currency, 5, Access, Content, Support, are addressed.
• The contractor shall provide access to the Ovid Core Biomedical Collection, which includes access to specified scientific journals.
• The contractor shall assure that journals are maintained with the most current issues available with no embargo period.
• The contractor shall assure that the product is 508 compliant or describe measures being taken to bring the product into compliance.
• The contractor shall provide a single point of contact for customer service issues and answer questions within two business days.
