Description
Morgan State University is seeking a qualified and experienced contractor to provide corrective and preventive maintenance and additional device installation of the Campus Milestone Video Management System (VMS) Camera, ALE panic buttons, emergency phones, CBORD Intrusion Detection and CBORD access controls systems. The contract will be for a three-year base period with two optional one-year extensions. The contractor will be responsible for performing semi-annual preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and providing 24-hour emergency call service. The contractor must also develop and implement an emergency phone monitoring system integrated with the Alcatel-Lucent campus phone system network.
Some key points of the contract include:
• The contractor will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of 113 emergency blue light phones spread throughout the main campus.
• The contractor will be required to conduct a site survey to confirm the locations of all emergency phones.
• The contractor must provide certified technicians trained on Gai-Tronic’s (or equivalent) devices.
• The contractor must maintain a spare stock of emergency phone parts, strobes, and handsets.
• The contractor must ensure compliance with NFPA 70, NFPA 72, ADA requirements, and Division 28 standards.
