Medical Doctor Services in the Seneca County Correctional Facility

The Seneca County Correctional Facility is seeking a medical doctor to provide comprehensive medical oversight and clinical services. The selected physician will be responsible for providing on-site clinics, medical direction, on-call coverage, intake screenings, chronic care, medication management, and other medical services. The physician will also be required to develop and approve standing orders, protocols, and clinical pathways, and oversee quality assurance and continuous quality improvement. The contract term is for 3 years with optional 1-year renewals. • Provide on-site clinics for a minimum of 8 hours per week • Develop and approve standing orders, protocols, and clinical pathways • Oversee quality assurance and continuous quality improvement • Manage chronic care and provide medication management • Provide on-call coverage and respond to urgent issues • Develop and implement emergency response protocols • Coordinate specialty and hospital referrals • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
