Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source 24 hour Alarm Monitoring Services

The Department of the Army, Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - Fort Hood, intends to award a sole-source contract for 24-hour alarm monitoring services for Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center (CRDAMC). The contract will be awarded to Transnet Communications LLC, as they are the proprietary owner of the alarm monitoring system currently installed and operating at the three clinic locations. The requirement consists of 24/7/365 intrusion detection system monitoring and remote telephonic technical support for three community-based clinics. The system will provide clinic electronic security surveillance and pharmacy electronic security monitoring and reporting. • The contract is for a firm-fixed-price basis. • The NAICS code for this procurement is 561621, Security Systems Services (except Locksmiths). • The size standard for this procurement is $25 million. • The contract will provide 24/7/365 intrusion detection system monitoring and remote telephonic technical support. • The system will notify Fort Hood personnel and local authorities when an intrusion alarm is activated.
