Description
The Town of Amherst is seeking a contractor to install a new, town‑furnished drive unit on Final Clarifier #1 at its Wastewater Treatment Plant. The work involves mechanical and electrical installation, alignment, testing, and commissioning of the drive within the clarifier basin after the plant has been safely drained and isolated. The contract value is estimated between $10,000 and $50,000 and must be submitted as a paper bid. No electronic quotes are accepted. Interested firms should arrange a site walk‑through by emailing the primary contact during regular business hours.
• Install the drive unit (already purchased by the town) on Final Clarifier #1.
