Request for Proposals Professional Engineering Consulting Services for Downtown Revitalization Initiative Broadway-Fillmore

Notice is hereby given that the City of Buffalo Department of Public Works, Parks and Streets (DPW) Division of Engineering is issuing a Request for Proposals for Professional Services for Group 1137. The New York State Department of State awarded the City of Buffalo funding through the State's Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) to design and undertake streetscape improvements in the Broadway-Fillmore DRI area. This project includes professional services (design and construction administration/ inspection) to improve walkability in the Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood. The specific elements of this project include: · construction of state-of-the-art wayfinding and signage, · new street lighting that is energy efficient and enhances public safety, · tree planting, · sidewalk repairs, and · new public amenities such as outdoor seating and flower planters to create a more inviting public realm for residents and visitors.
