Watervliet CSO Elimination Project - Phase 2

Sealed bids for the separation of sewer and storm sewer systems including: installing a dedicated storm sewer system, along sections of roadway and alleyway consisting of approximately 6,520 linear feet of 8, 12, 15,18, and 24-inch diameter high density polyethylene and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe, abandoning three existing CSOs, installation of 45 catch basins and 31 manholes, constructing sidewalk pedestrian ramp improvements, milling 28,000 square yards of roadway to a depth of 1 ½”, and installing final paving (curb-to-curb) where roadways were disturbed. All disturbed areas will be re-established along sections of roadway as located in the City of Watervliet, Albany County, New York. Bids will be received at Watervliet City Hall, 2 Fifteenth Street, Watervliet, New York 12189 until 10:30 A.M. (local time) on April 16, 2026 and will be opened and read at that time. Sequence of work is to be done as outlined in section 01010 SUMMARY OF WORK/ADMINISTRATION, ITEM 30.
