Mountain Empire Community College is seeking a qualified vendor to operate a campus‑wide café serving faculty, staff, and students. The contractor will be responsible for preparing and selling high‑quality meals at the lowest possible prices, with no commission returning to the college, and must comply with the college’s Statement of Needs. • Operate and staff a full‑service café on the MECC campus (3441 Mountain Empire Rd, Big Stone Gap, VA). • Provide menu planning, food preparation, inventory control, and point‑of‑sale services. • Deliver consistent quality, affordable pricing, and excellent customer service while adhering to all applicable health and safety regulations.
