Design and Construction Manager Services for Two Electric Charging Stations

The City of Gainesville is seeking a qualified firm to provide design and construction management services for two electric charging stations. The project includes the design and construction of two ChargePoint Express Depot Stations, one ChargePoint Express Power Block, and two 110-volt service outlets near the endpoints of the charging station area. The charging station is located at the Regional Transit System Main Facility and is used to charge four Battery Electric Buses with plans for four additional buses over the next two years. The selected firm will be responsible for designing and providing construction management services, including planning, scheduling, and permitting. The firm will also be required to demonstrate expertise in areas such as CADD technician, civil engineer, electrical engineer, project manager, and risk analysis. • The project is funded by a federal grant from the Federal Transit Administration. • The firm must be licensed in the State of Florida and have at least 5 years of experience in construction services and management. • The firm must provide three references for projects of similar scope. • The firm must demonstrate the capability to complete the project scope. • The firm must comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
