The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide regulated medical waste (RMW) and sharps collection and disposal services for the Edward Hines Jr VA Hospital in Hines, IL, and its affiliated CBOC locations. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary equipment, labor, and transportation to collect, transport, and dispose of RMW and sharps in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. The contract will be for a 5-year period with five 1-year priced periods. The contractor must be a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and must meet all requirements outlined in the solicitation.
