Description
The California Department of Transportation is seeking a certified Small Business (SB) or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) to provide fire alarm and suppression system maintenance, inspection, and repair services in Sacramento County. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, tools, equipment, travel, and incidentals necessary to perform the work. The contract will have a maximum allowable expenditure of $461,000. The contractor must possess a valid and current C-16 (Fire Protection Contractor) license and a Kidde VM-1 training certificate.
• The contractor will provide quarterly fire alarm system inspections and services.
• The contractor will provide quarterly sprinkler system inspections and services.
• The contractor will provide semi-annual FM 200 Control System and related components inspections and services.
• The contractor will provide annual fire alarm and fire suppression inspections, services, and certifications.
• The contractor will provide annual fire pump assembly, testing, and maintenance.
• The contractor will provide annual portable fire extinguisher certification.
The contract will be awarded to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest price quote and meets all the specifications.
