Description
The Office of State Procurement is seeking bids for a Blanket Order Contract to provide propane for the Louisiana Department of Public Safety. The contract will be for an initial 1-year period, with the option to renew for two additional 12-month periods. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing and maintaining 15 1,000-gallon LPG tanks and 2 500-gallon LPG tanks at the Fire and Emergency Training Academy. The contractor must be able to deliver LPG fuel within a 12-hour period when requested.
• The contract is for a blanket order, with items to be called for by the using agency as needed.
• The contractor must be able to obtain and supply the item(s) at their bid price for the entire contract period.
• The unit price should be inclusive of any freight charges.
• The contractor must have LPG tanks on location and ready to go one week after contract award.
• Minor repairs are allowed on-site, and the vendor will replace tanks at no charge if they cannot be repaired.
