Description
The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) and Illinois Department of Early Childhood (IDEC) are seeking bids for a contract to provide all-in-one electronic fingerprint capture/control software and mobile fingerprint scanners including a photo capture module. The contract will be for a period of 12, 24, or 36 months, as determined by the needs of DCFS. The successful bidder will be required to provide the necessary equipment and software to enable DCFS and IDEC to electronically capture and transmit fingerprints and photos to the Illinois State Police (ISP) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for background checks.
• The contract will require the provision of mobile fingerprinting equipment on a leased basis.
• The successful bidder must be certified by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Illinois State Police (ISP) as a LiveScan system prior to bid opening.
• The contract will require the provision of end-user training on an hourly basis.
• The successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including those related to security and confidentiality.
