Uniformed Security Guard Services

The City of Salinas seeks a qualified security firm to provide city‑wide uniformed (unarmed) guard services across multiple municipal facilities, including City Hall, libraries, parks, parking structures, and the Intermodal Transit Center. The contractor must supply fully licensed guards, maintain daily incident logs, respond to alarms and fire‑watch requests, conduct annual site‑assessment reports, and provide 24/7 primary contact support. The award will be a 2‑year base contract with up to three one‑year extensions, and the firm must meet extensive insurance and licensing requirements. • Provide unarmed foot or bike patrols, alarm response, and fire‑watch at designated locations. • Deliver daily activity logs, annual assessments, and on‑site training for City staff. • Replace any guard within 2 hours of a replacement request at no extra cost to the City.
