Description
The City of Casa Grande, Arizona, is seeking a qualified Construction Manager‑at‑Risk (CMAR) to provide pre‑construction services and then act as the general contractor for the Thornton Road and Cottonwood Lane Improvements. The scope includes widening the intersection, adding turn lanes, installing new sidewalks, curb‑and‑gutter, drainage upgrades, pavement rehabilitation (including mill‑and‑fill, full‑depth replacement, and concrete work), irrigation extensions, traffic signal modifications, and related utility work. The CMAR will develop design‑phase value‑engineering recommendations, prepare one or two Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) proposals, secure long‑lead items, and manage the construction schedule, quality‑control, bonding, permitting, and coordination with city departments and utilities. Submissions are SOQs limited to six pages (excluding required forms) and must be delivered in sealed hard‑copy format by 2:00 p.m. on 29 September 2026. Evaluation will be based on qualifications, past performance, team capability, and project approach.
