Description
The Texas Facilities Commission is seeking a professional services provider to perform external construction audit services. The scope of work includes providing construction auditing services for completed or existing construction projects, reviewing billings for compliance with contract terms, validating general conditions payments, and attending meetings as requested by the owner. The contract term is for three years with an option to renew for an additional three years. The total budget for the contract is estimated at $600,000 for the full six-year term.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Providing input to TFC and monitoring implementation of guidelines for cost tracking on the project
• Validating appropriate general conditions payments as part of the monthly application for payment process
• Reviewing and providing analysis of change proposals and change orders
• Monitoring and tracking project expenditures
• Providing written reports as needed of activities and results of expenditure reviews, monitoring activities, and project cost tracking
