Description
The California Highway Patrol is seeking a qualified contractor to provide 24/7 evidence impound tow and storage services for the San Gorgonio Pass Area Office. The contractor must operate light, medium, and heavy‑duty tow trucks, secure and transport evidence vehicles, maintain a secure storage facility, and submit monthly inventory reports. The contract is a fixed‑price, single‑award IFB with a ceiling of $600,000 and a performance period from December 1 2026 to November 30 2029 (subject to extensions).
• Perform light, medium, and heavy‑duty towing of evidence vehicles on a 24‑hour, seven‑day‑a‑week basis.
• Provide a secure, weather‑protected storage facility with inventory tracking and vehicle inspection capabilities.
• Maintain required licensing, insurance, and security clearances for all personnel; submit monthly reports and comply with all state statutes and safety regulations.
