Description
The City of Gadsden is soliciting sealed bids from qualified contractors to perform Nuisance Abatement Grass Cutting Services on City Lots, State Lots, Private Lots, and Land Bank Authority Lots within the City of Gadsden, Alabama. The contractor will be responsible for providing complete grass cutting and debris removal services, including furnishing the necessary tools, equipment, materials, and labor. The contract will be for one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods.
• The contractor must submit an invoice for payment every two weeks for each lot cut during the preceding two-week period.
• The City of Gadsden will supply each contractor with a website link to track work completed on each lot.
• The contractor shall be responsible for providing complete, accurate information for each approved lot to ensure prompt payment.
• The contractor must take special care to direct clippings away from adjacent lots, parked vehicles, sidewalks, roadways, gutters, drainage inlets, houses, outbuildings, or any other structures.
• The contractor shall not use any form of herbicide during the execution of this contract.
• The contractor shall have and maintain adequate staffing, personnel, and equipment needed to fulfill the obligations of this contract.
• The contractor may be asked by the City to mow property on short notice and must be prepared to handle these requests within 48 hours.
