Q522--Onsite Interventional Radiology Physician Services JJP

The Veterans Health Administration’s James J. Peters VA Medical Center in the Bronx, NY seeks a contractor to provide one Full‑Time Equivalent (1.0 FTE) Interventional Radiology (IR) physician who will work onsite and be on‑call to serve eligible veterans. The contractor must supply a minimum of four board‑certified/board‑eligible IR physicians, all of whom will be credentialed and scheduled through the VA. Services must comply with American College of Radiology (ACR) guidelines and support existing IR procedures only; there is no planned expansion. The IR physicians will report to the General Surgery department, will have access to RN, diagnostic radiology technologist, and surgery administrative staff for case scheduling, and will handle approximately 15 on‑call calls per month with 12‑15 callbacks per year. No separate line‑item payment for callbacks is anticipated. The incumbent is Progressive Radiology, LLC.
