Description
The FY26 G3 RFQ Greenhouse project involves the construction of a greenhouse at USP Lee. The project includes the installation of a hydroponic system, a greenhouse frame, welded base plates, sealed structural drawings, and sealed foundation drawings. The project also includes the installation of a twin wall PCSS roof covering kit, steel end wall framing kits, and polycarbonate twin wall end and side covering kits. The ventilation system will include exhaust fans, box exhaust fans, horizontal air flow fans, and shutters. The cooling system will include an evaporative cooling system and a cooling cell framing kit. The project also includes the installation of a lean-to classroom, a heater, and a climate controller.
• The greenhouse will have a 12 ft. column spacing and a 10 ft. gutter height.
• The posts will be 4" x 4" square 11 GA tubing on 12ft centers.
• The bows will be 2" x 3" rectangle 14 GA tubing.
• The trusses will be 2" x 3" x 14 GA cross truss with 2" x 2" square uprights.
• The roof purlins will be 2 runs of 2-1/4" x 14 GA and 10 runs of 2-1/2" x 14 GA.
• The end wall framing will be 2" x 2" x 14 GA square tubing.
• The side wall height will be 10 ft.
• The bow spacing will be 12 ft.
• The complete hardware package for frame assembly will be included.
• The wind load will be 90 mph (3-second gust minimum).
• The snow load will be 10 psf ground snow.
