On-Site Rental Car Facility on Airport Property

The City of Sugar Land is seeking proposals from experienced and qualified firms to provide on-site rental car services at the Sugar Land Regional Airport. The selected firm will be required to provide a range of rental cars, including compact, mid-sized, full-sized, luxury, and sport utility vehicles. The firm will also be required to provide professionally dressed employees, quality service, and clean and well-maintained cars. The city is looking for a firm that can provide excellent customer service and a professional image. Some of the key requirements include: providing three mid-sized vehicles for airport-related purposes, replacing crew cars every five years, and providing a plan for electric fleet implementation. The city is also looking for a firm that can provide a plan for staffing, after-hours operations, and special events. • The firm will be required to provide a minimum of 500 square feet of office space, counter space, and customer queuing area. • The firm will be required to provide a plan for parking space compensation and anticipated demand. • The firm will be required to provide a plan for enhancing customer experience, including reducing wait times and improving queueing. • The firm will be required to provide a plan for crew car care and replacement. • The firm will be required to provide a plan for increasing crew cars provided. • The firm will be required to provide references from similar airports or FBOs of similar size.
