Old North Lakes Substation Demolition

The City of Denton is seeking a contractor to demolish the Old North Lakes Substation, including the building, foundations, asphalt and concrete pavement, miscellaneous above ground structures and equipment, and utility services. The contractor will be responsible for providing a detailed schedule and written plan to achieve substantial completion and final acceptance within the contract time. The contractor will also be required to provide a warranty as outlined in the project specifications. • Demolition of building, foundations, asphalt and concrete pavement, miscellaneous above ground structures and equipment, and utility services of retired substation • Site restoration • Provision of a detailed schedule and written plan to achieve substantial completion and final acceptance within the contract time • Provision of a warranty as outlined in the project specifications • Compliance with prevailing wage rates as defined by the United States Department of Labor Davis-Bacon Wage Determination
