Description
The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) is seeking to procure off-the-shelf snow melting equipment for C99 (Alexandria Yard) to restore system functionality. The equipment supplies only, no installation required. Immediate purchase is essential to ensure Metrorail safety and operational readiness for the 2025-2026 winter season by preventing snow accumulation that can cause service delays or hazards. The solicitation includes two line items:
• Snow Melter Control Case - 16 Circuit Control, Enclosure Size: 33.5"W x 18"D x 48"H, with a requested quantity of 2.
• Snow Melter Control Case - 12 Circuit Control, Enclosure Size: 33.5"W x 18"D x 48"H, with a requested quantity of 8.
