85026Y0146-DDC NYC MURPHCOMF - PRB Bundle - Special Inspections

The Department of Design and Construction is seeking a Special Inspector to provide special inspection services for the MURPHCOMF – PRB Bundle - Special Inspections Design-Build project. The scope of work for the project is to construct five new public restroom buildings in parks and playgrounds located in Manhattan, Queens, and the Bronx. The buildings will be designed according to NYC Parks Standards for Public Restrooms and will consist of three rooms: a multi-stall men's room, a multi-stall women's room, and a mechanical room with service equipment. • The project requires special inspection services, including ADA inspections and laboratory testing services. • The consultant must have experience with the NYC Building Code and ADAAG Standards. • The consultant must provide personnel who meet the minimum requirements for each title, as set forth in Exhibit B. • The consultant must provide a Staffing Plan and maintain the registration and accreditation described in Article 5. • The consultant must provide laboratory testing services in compliance with Chapter 17 of the NYC Building Code. The key services required for this project include special inspections, laboratory testing, and ADA inspections. The consultant must have the necessary experience, expertise, staff, and resources to fulfill its obligations under this contract competently and efficiently.
