Description
The Dormitory Authority - State of New York has awarded a Single Source Contract for Furnish and Installation of Sizewise Hospital Beds and Mattresses without a comprehensive competitive process. The opportunity was not offered competitively because the President, his or her designee determined that a competitive procurement process was impractical for this contract.
The specified beds are only manufactured by Agiliti Health. Lead time was also a critical factor, as Agiliti is able to deliver the urgently required beds within the timeframe necessary to meet project needs.
