Description
The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Virginia is seeking information on qualified and experienced sources for planning purposes to derive a contract vehicle that will provide a Compact Dual Polarimetric X-Band Doppler Weather Radar System. The system should operate in the X-Band (9.4 GHz) with selectable scan modes and an observation range that exceeds 60 km. It should be a dual polarimetric radar operating in simultaneous transmission/receiving (STAR) and not alternating. The system should come with a signal processing unit and data processing unit along with software for basic display. The contract is expected to be a single award, Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract action.
