Description
The Summit County Government (Snake River Wastewater Treatment Plant) is soliciting qualified contractors to design and construct a full renovation of its Water Quality Laboratory. The scope includes demolition of existing lab finishes, replacement of windows, countertops, casework, fume hood, sinks, fixtures, ceiling, lighting, flooring, minor carpentry, interior painting, permitting, and hazardous‑material abatement. The contractor must provide both design and construction services, work within regular business hours, and coordinate closely with the Utility Director on design submittals and schedule development.
• Design‑build services for a complete laboratory overhaul (demolition, replacement, painting, permitting).
• Required insurance coverage (CGL, WC, Auto) and compliance with Colorado environmental regulations.
• Mandatory submission deadline 2 Apr 2026 2:00 pm MST; pre‑bid meeting optional on 24 Mar 2026.
• Project expected to be executed during the 2026 construction season, with an anticipated duration of roughly four months.
