Description
The State of Alabama’s Department of Revenue is seeking a licensed auctioneer to operate a secure, cloud‑based online auction platform for the sale of tax‑interest parcels of delinquent property. The contractor will be responsible for all aspects of the auction process, including bidder registration, real‑time bidding, financial collection, and compliance with Alabama code. The contract is for an initial one‑year term with up to four renewable years, and compensation is a contingency fee of up to 15 % of gross auction proceeds.
• Must be a licensed Alabama auctioneer with at least three years of auction experience, including ten internet auctions for governmental entities.
• Provide a secure, mobile‑responsive platform featuring real‑time live bidding, proxy bidding, per‑parcel clocks, and comprehensive activity logging, with 99.99 % uptime.
• Collect, account for, and remit auction proceeds to ADOR, retaining only the agreed‑upon contingency fee; all operating expenses are borne by the contractor.
