Hodges Stadium - Chilled Hot Water Piping

The University of North Florida is seeking a licensed General contractor or Mechanical Contractor to complete chilled water piping modifications at Building 46, Hodges Stadium, located on the UNF campus. The project includes demolition of existing chilled water piping, equipment, and associated components, and installation of new direct-buried pre-insulated chilled water piping, valves, and connections. The contractor will be responsible for trenching, backfill, site restoration, system testing, flushing, and coordination of required shutdowns. * Key aspects of the project include: * Demolition and removal of existing piping and equipment * Installation of new piping and connections * Trenching and backfill * Site restoration * System testing and flushing * Coordination of shutdowns The University requires a certified, cashier’s or treasurer’s check, bank draft, bank official check or bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount as a condition for participating in this competitive solicitation. The successful Vendor shall provide and pay for performance and payment bonds for projects/agreements in excess of $100,000.
