CEI Services for Immokalee Recycle Drop off, Scalehouse and Control Center

The Collier County Board of County Commissioners Procurement Services Division is seeking a consultant to provide Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services for the Immokalee Recycling Drop-off Center and Scale House & Control Center Project. The selected CEI firm will work closely with County staff, the design team, and the Construction Team to ensure construction is completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications and operational constraints. The CEI services include construction observation and documentation, construction inspection and project oversight, and additional services as authorized. The consultant will provide a daily log of construction activities, photographs, and videos, and will attend weekly progress meetings with the Construction Team and the County. The consultant will also review and recommend approval of payments due to the Construction Team. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing full-time construction engineering and inspection services for the project • Coordinating with the Construction Team and County staff to ensure compliance with project specifications and operational constraints • Conducting daily site observations and inspections to ensure that construction is completed in accordance with the Contract Documents • Maintaining a daily log of construction activities, including photographs and videos • Attending weekly progress meetings with the Construction Team and the County • Reviewing and recommending approval of payments due to the Construction Team • Providing additional services as authorized, including change management and start-up and commissioning support
