Description
The Heart of Texas Workforce Development Board, Inc. is soliciting proposals for lease space to house a workforce center in Hillsboro, Texas. The lease space should be located within Hillsboro, Texas, and should be in a location that is properly zoned to allow usage and shall comply with all local, state, and national codes, ordinances, and regulations governing the class of facility. The facility should be in a location that best serves employers, residents, and job seekers, and should be in a location that will assist in the allowance of a meeting site, training center, and be convenient for access by potential clients. The facility must be proximate to a major thoroughfare, with easy access, and within walking distance of bus routes, if applicable. The facility must be in good repair. Some key points to consider when submitting a proposal include:
* The lease term is for 10 years, with the option to renew for an additional 5 years.
* The facility must be ready for occupancy by August 1, 2026.
* Proposals will be evaluated based on factors such as facility, reasonableness of cost, value added, and other special conditions.
* The Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and to negotiate the final terms of any contract with the selected bidder.
* Proposers must submit their proposals in PDF format, following the sequence of submission outlined in the RFP.
* A bidders' conference will be held on May 19, 2026, at 1:00 PM, to answer questions and provide guidance on the scope and nature of the work required.
