J072--Sources Sought - Cart Washer Maintenance Services for the Minneapolis VA Medical Center

The Minneapolis VA Medical Center is seeking sources for cart washer maintenance services. The services include maintenance, repair, and rebuilding of equipment for four Getinge Cart Washing Units located at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center. The contract period is for a base year with four option years. The vendor shall provide all labor, materials, chemicals, and parts required to maintain the equipment in fully operational condition. The vendor shall also provide a service report and a scheduled timeline of preventive service and supplies. • The contract requires the vendor to respond to requests for breakdown repairs within four hours of phone or internet service requests. • The vendor shall use testing equipment that is calibrated and adheres to the standards and criteria set forth by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). • The vendor shall provide a certificate of training for each technician that may be dispatched to the VA Medical Center. • The vendor shall provide all parts replaced with OEM parts or equivalent. • The contract requires the vendor to maintain a safe working environment and to follow all safety protocols. • The contract requires the vendor to obtain a vendor's badge and to check in with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) upon arrival at the facility.
