The City of Salina seeks a qualified contractor to perform surface preparation and painting of structural steel and related components on the 531‑ft North Ohio Street Bridge. The work includes painting fences, concrete barriers, rail, and a large inventory of street‑light and pedestrian‑light poles, requiring multiple color applications and adherence to KDOT Painting Structural Steel qualifications.
• Scope covers fence‑painting, concrete barrier painting, rail painting, and repainting of 24 standard light poles (6 on‑bridge) plus 46 pedestrian poles and 5 bollard lights.
• Contractor must be pre‑qualified through KDOT for Work Type Q (Painting Structural Steel) and must provide three complete sets of plans/specifications.
